Lidzbark Warmiński lies in the centre of Warmia. Due to its location and unique character, it is referred to as the Pearl of Warmia. Its most significant historic monument - the palace and castle complex has been nicknamed “The Wawel of the North”. Krasicki Hotel, set up in the Outer Ward, and the neighbouring Bishop Castle lie on a narrow strip of land between the two rivers - the Łyna and the Symsarna.
